Mr Tighe is our in-house Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Well respected in his field, Mr Tighe has extensive experience and has many research projects and publications to his name. Currently part of the renowned East Kent Hospitals Maxillofacial Team he combines his wealth of knowledge, meticulous attention to detail and calm and personable manner making him extremely popular with patients.
Initially studying medicine he gained experience in neurosurgery and accident and emergency during his Junior residences and then continued his studies in dentistry, becoming dually qualified to progress into Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. As clinical lead in East Kent Hospitals he has trained and inspired generations of Junior Medics and as well as continuing his research he contributes and also reviews articles for the prestigious International Journal or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
