Specialist Endodontics

Our in-house endodontic specialist is highly experienced and respected in the dental field and his reputation proceeds him. Root canal treatment can be unpredictable, but when performed by a Specialist who has undergone further rigorous training the success rate increases significantly.

A Specialist Endodontist is able to treat teeth that may have a more complicated anatomy or may be out of your general dentist’s skill. Sometimes a tooth may have already had an attempt at being root filled and a secondary infection has arisen or the current attempt is not satisfactory, our Specialist is able to re-treat the tooth providing an optimal result and thus improving your tooth’s prognosis.

Sometimes, even after re-root treatment, infection persists at the tip of the root of the tooth, in this case an apicectomy may be performed to aim to remove the infection at the root tip without disturbing the tooth and enabling it to remain unchanged visibly in the mouth.
